This particular model is intended for letter files and is made with Thermocell II insulation. A proprietary insulation that better protects your files and allows for the 2 Hour fire rating.

The ultimate in fireproof records protection. These are the only American-built insulated files with a 2-hour fire and impact rating from Underwriter's Laboratories. In addition this file cabinet was exterior fire exposure at 1850F, a 2000F and earned a UL explosion hazard protection rating.. Available in both letter and legal sizes. A UL-listed high-security Medeco key lock comes standard but there are optional lock choices.
