When Sentry purchased Schwab the inherited over 135 years of expertise in creating secure fire doors. Some customers build this for a fireproofed vault room. Others add this door to an ordinary room where it still contributes significant fire and burglary protection. The door was tested at 1700F for one hour and earned the 350F UL label. The fire door was tested for resistance to burglary attack and also did not break open in a blast of water from a large fire fighting hose. This is a very heavy duty Sentry Record Fire Safe. Originally designed for business documents, this 1 hour UL rated fire safe can protect any valuables. It is a heavy duty safe carrying a UL explosion hazard resistance label and an Impact (fall) resistance label. This safe comes standard with a high security Group II UL rated combination lock. For extra burglary protection it has a relocking device the sets the bolts if the lock is attacked.
