The Barska AX13378 HQ1000 Large Quick Access Keypad Biometric Rifle Safe has a robust steel contruction and an avanced biometric fingerprint scanner that can identify up to 120 different fingerprints with a swift touch. The interior of the safe comes with an adjustable 12 position rifle rack and 3 removable shelves. The safe is also secured by a 5 point deadbolt locking system that resists tampering and break-ins. It has passed the strict tests of the California Department of Justice and has been certified as a secure firearms safe. The HQ1000 operates with AA batteries -which are included- but in case these are discharged, it has an external battery pack. It comes with 2 backup keys and an external battery pack in case the batteries run low. But to avoid having to use the emergency battery, this safe has an LCD screen where it shows the battery status.
